Wholesale investors

Wholesale investors may purchase units in GMO’s Australian Trusts directly. Wholesale investors can invest by clicking on the Apply Online button or by completing the Application Form within the appropriate Information Memorandum.

The GMO Australia Trusts are only available to wholesale investors. The minimum initial investment size in the Trusts is $500,000. That amount may be modified at GMO’s discretion (including upon submission of an accountant’s certificate demonstrating a minimum level of assets and income). Please refer to the Additional Investor Information below.

Additional Investor Information 
  • Investors must successfully complete know-your-clients checks under anti-money laundering regulations before their applications will be accepted. This will be confirmed at the end of the application process. 
  • If an application and cleared application monies are received by GMO Australia before 12pm, applications will be processed using the unit price as at the close of business on that day. 
  • Read the Information Memorandum and the accompanying Statement of Additional Information for the relevant fund.
  • Speak to your financial adviser before making an investment decision.

Existing Investors

Existing investors can make a new initial investment into another GMO fund by clicking on the Apply Online button or by completing the Application Form within the appropriate Information Memorandum. If you are an existing investor and wish to make an additional investment to an existing holding, please complete the Additional Investment Form. For redemptions, please use the Redemption Form.

Other Investors

Other investors may gain exposure to GMO’s Australian Trusts by investing through certain platforms. To invest, please refer to the Product Disclosure Statements and contact a relevant platform from the list below.

Target Market Determination

These Target Market Determination (TMD) documents are required under section 994B of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (the Act). It sets out the class of consumers for whom the product, including its key attributes, would likely be consistent with their likely objectives, financial situation and needs. In addition, the TMD outlines the triggers to review the target market and certain other information. It forms part of GMO Australia Limited’s design and distribution arrangements for the product.

The minimum initial investment size in GMO UCITS is generally $1 million USD (or currency equivalent). That amount may be modified at GMO’s discretion.

IRISH ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT FUNDS

The GMO Irish Alternative Investment Funds are available to investors within certain European Economic Area countries, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Investors in other countries may be eligible to invest on a case-by-case basis. The minimum initial investment size is generally $5 million USD (or currency equivalent). That amount may be modified at GMO’s discretion.
